For my tag print assignment I decided to go with just the simple primary colors and what not. I thought since this was my first time ever using photoshop I would stick to the basics, and keep everything pretty simple so I could really learn the basics on how photoshop works. With that being said, I had a few difficulties doing this assignment. For some reason my computer was not cooperating at all with me and decided to completely disregard everything I was telling it to do, so I lost a good portion of my work and then had to restart.

Overall, I think I did a decent job on this project considering it was my very first time ever using photoshop. I definitely could have used some help at times, but with that being said, after a bit of time I figured out what I needed to do on my own. This project definitely gave me a couple headaches along the way, but I am glad I was able to do it on my own.

    1. *I like how you used a lot of different colors.
    *I like how I can tell what your logo is.

    2. *Maybe less layers, it is a bit straining on the eyes to look at.
    *My question to you would be, if you could re-do this assignment again with more experience with. photoshop, would you use different colors?

For the business cards I ceded to go with a basic, and simple design. I tried to make it most appealing to the eye by keeping the design simple. I believe that business cards should be simple in order to get their purpose across. The easier they are to read the more likely the person is to contacts the card owner. I wanted to make the cards colorful because the logos themselves were colorful and happy. Overall I am pretty pleased with how the project turned out and it wasn't too complicated to complete.

          For this assignment I was really inspired by my daily life in this current situation of living through the corona virus. Now you might be slightly confused and asking yourself, what does she mean by this? Well, when I say I was inspired by my current daily life I mean multiple things influenced this project. The first being that I have been almost feeling like a robot lately, living through the same routine, waking up, eating, doing homework, showering, and then rinse and repeat. Living through this pandemic, has made me feel I am living the same day over and over again so I thought "what a good way to represent this feeling."And decided to photoshop myself into a robot. So then I thought what would I look like as a robot? And my mind immediately came to the terminator movies. I basically used the terminator as a basis for my project. Logo post

Before I started my logo I had a really difficult time determining what exactly my logo should look like. Narrowing down specific aspects of my personality that make me, me was extremely difficult. In order to help me figure this out I had to ask several of my family members and friends to describe me in 3 words. The most common words that came up were: happy, fun, and friendly. I took those three adjectives and ran with them, to create my personal logo. I decided to go with a friendly and happy face to showcase happiness and friendliness, with a colorful hair symbolizing my fun loving characteristic.   I think I did a pretty good job on this project. If I would have done anything else to make it better, I probably would have changed the face a bit. I would have made it a bit more complex and not just simple lines.
