I chose this video because, it was extremely informative as well as detail oriented. I got a good overview of photoshop as well as learned a basis of understanding from the video.

I chose this tutorial because it is short and sweet and to the point. It gave a good basis of understanding in the easiest way possible. It was easy to digest and understand as someone who has no prior knowledge of photoshop.

I chose this video because it really gave me a better understanding of the layers portion of photoshop. It taught me that layers is one of the most important aspects of photoshop and it is crucial to understand layers to do well in photoshop.

For the business cards I ceded to go with a basic, and simple design. I tried to make it most appealing to the eye by keeping the design simple. I believe that business cards should be simple in order to get their purpose across. The easier they are to read the more likely the person is to contacts the card owner. I wanted to make the cards colorful because the logos themselves were colorful and happy. Overall I am pretty pleased with how the project turned out and it wasn't too complicated to complete.

          For this assignment I was really inspired by my daily life in this current situation of living through the corona virus. Now you might be slightly confused and asking yourself, what does she mean by this? Well, when I say I was inspired by my current daily life I mean multiple things influenced this project. The first being that I have been almost feeling like a robot lately, living through the same routine, waking up, eating, doing homework, showering, and then rinse and repeat. Living through this pandemic, has made me feel I am living the same day over and over again so I thought "what a good way to represent this feeling."And decided to photoshop myself into a robot. Before I started my logo I had a really difficult time determining what exactly my logo should look like. Narrowing down specific aspects of my personality that make me, me was extremely difficult. In order to help me figure this out I had to ask several of my family members and friends to describe me in 3 words. The most common words that came up were: happy, fun, and friendly. I took those three adjectives and ran with them, to create my personal logo. I decided to go with a friendly and happy face to showcase happiness and friendliness, with a colorful hair symbolizing my fun loving characteristic.   I think I did a pretty good job on this project. If I would have done anything else to make it better, I probably would have changed the face a bit. I would have made it a bit more complex and not just simple lines.
